“A Candle Loses Nothing By Lighting Other Candles”
Give a child a Jewish summer camp experience by clicking the little blue box

The summer camp experience is one that has tremendous potential to shape and impact the life of a young child. At The Jack and Pat Kay Centre Camp, it is our goal to ensure that every young camper has the opportunity to experience camp regardless of their family’s financial situation.

The camp scholarship fund has also been set-up to help provide one-to-one support staff for children with special needs, as well as families that are new to the country, low-income single parent families, and other situations that may make attending camp difficult.

Through the support of organizations such as United Way and United Jewish Appeal, in addition to the support of private donors, we do everything in our power to ensure that no child is turned away from experiencing all that Centre Camp has to offer.

If you would like to inquire about how you can support the Camp Scholarship Fund, please contact Phil Faibish at 416.638.1881 x4299.

Not only can you help send a child in need to camp, but you can strength the Jewish community one young child at a time.

Seeing as how the community does so much to support us, we feel that it is our responsibility at Centre Camp to continually give back to the community. Over the past few years we’ve been working very closely with United Way on their Speakers Bureau raising awareness of the importance of donating to United Way.

In addition,The Jack and Pat Kay Centre Camp office successfully leads the Prosserman JCC United Way fundraising campaign and fielded an impressive team at the United Way CN Tower Stair Climb event.

Our other fundraising and community involvement initiatives are associated with our strong connection to Israel. The Jack and Pat Kay Centre Camp works very closely with Canada Israel Experience to help young people (and many of our staff) experience Israel.

During the month of August, The Jack and Pat Kay Centre Camp hosts its annual Israeli Market Family Night. This great event is an evening where campers and their families get to experience a little bit of Israeli culture in Canada and also raise money for some great charities in Israel.

The Jack and Pat Kay Centre Camp is, and will always be committed to supporting the Jewish community in Toronto and worthwhile charities in the state of Israel.
