CAMP: FUN today, life lessons for tomorrow

If you or your children have been to camp, you already know this.

Camp offers children at a critical stage in their lives the magic of human connection. While having fun, they learn about leadership, how to be part of team, to challenge themselves, to innovate. Children become part of a community of friends that can last a lifetime, creating memories that put a smile on their face for years to come.

The J Inclusion Fund will make camp possible for children with special needs who require some extra help to join their friends and for children from low-income families who don’t have the means to give their children a camp experience. At the J we do everything in our power to ensure that no child is turned away from experiencing all that camp has to offer. So we are reaching out to you!

“I love Centre Camp because it’s a safe place where children can play, learn and grow. Besides the fun had by campers, what makes The Jack and Pat Kay Centre Camp the MOST special is the sense of community – both from a Jewish & family perspective. Every camper is made to feel special and leaves each day feeling important which boosts both their confidence and self-esteem.”  Elise, Camper mom

Ten years ago Kayla Daniels was referred by JF&CS to The Jack and Pat Kay Centre Camp to, in her words, “develop who I am and make new friends”.

2018 Goal:  $100,000 to help subsidize 200 children (ranges of subsidies are available)

At the Jack and Pat Kay Centre Camp, it is our goal to ensure that every camper has the opportunity to experience camp regardless of their family’s financial situation.  For many of these children, The Jack and Pat Kay Centre Camp is their sole source of connection to Jewish life.  All donations are gratefully appreciated.
