At the J, we believe in leaving no one behind. The value of a Jewish Day Camp experience is undeniable, and the J is determined to remove the barriers to participation that many of our most vulnerable community members face.
At a critical stage in a child’s life, camp offers the magic of human connection. While having fun in a Jewish environment, our campers learn leadership and teamwork skills, challenge themselves, innovate, and make connections that last lifetimes.

OUR KIDS

The J Inclusion Fund will make camp possible for children with special needs who require some extra help to join their friends and for children from low-income families who don’t have the means to give their children a camp experience. At the J we do everything in our power to ensure that no child is turned away from experiencing all that camp has to offer. So we are reaching out to you!

AROUND THE CAMP FIRE – CAMP STORIES

“I love Centre Camp because it’s a safe place where children can play, learn and grow. Besides the fun had by campers, what makes The Jack and Pat Kay Centre Camp the MOST special is the sense of community – both from a Jewish & family perspective. Every camper is made to feel special and leaves each day feeling important which boosts both their confidence and self-esteem.”  Elise, Camper mom

Ten years ago Kayla Daniels was referred by JF&CS to The Jack and Pat Kay Centre Camp to, in her words, “develop who I am and make new friends”.

DONATE AND DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT!

Thanks to an anonymous donor every dollar you give will be matched.

A gift of $100 becomes a gift of $200.

The annual Send a Kid to Camp campaign makes these community-filled summer days possible for children who need us most. Funds raised help children with special needs who require some extra help to join their friends and children from families experiencing financial hardship. Please consider contributing to a child’s Jewish camp experience. Your gift to our Send a Kid to Camp campaign is a direct investment in the next generation of leadership for our community.

This summer there are over 200 children who will require a scholarship so they can attend camp.

Our goal is to raise $150,000 so no one is left behind.
